Choosing the Right Yew for Your Landscape

Yews are versatile evergreens that provide year-round structure and rich green color.

Hill’s Yew grows upright and dense with deep green foliage. It’s male and does not produce berries, making it a clean, low-maintenance hedge.

Hick’s Yew has a similar upright form but is female and produces red berries in fall, adding seasonal interest.

Emerald Spreader Japanese Yew is a low-growing, spreading variety that thrives in both sun and shade, perfect for ground cover or soft borders.

Whether for hedging, privacy, or ground cover, there’s a yew variety to fit your landscape!
